Did you know that at the typical real estate closing, the lawyer really doesn’t represent you the new buyer?. The closing attorney actually represents the lender. Of course you are paying the fee.
And while I’m on this subject, the lawyers themselves do very little of the work to prepare for your closing. It’s the paralegals that really do all the assembling of the paperwork.
Before you go to your next real estate closing, read about this real estate lawyer and don’t let this happen to you.

Yea, I know what you mean… A friend of mine recently had to file for bankruptcy and they got royally screwed by their lawyer.
